Sports Fields

EPDM rolls are produced by EPDM tiles, SBR safe floor coatings, SBR roll rubber product granule rubber parts and EPDM material being pressed under high pressure and high temperature with special adhesives. On tartan tracks, open or closed multifunctional sports centres, walking and jogging tracks, on-site pouring is done in compliance to athleticism standards with finisher. Walking and doing sports on rubber floor is more comfortable than other floors. Functions as shock absorber during hard falls, and manufactured from ecological, recyclable, ultraviolet-resistant material.

Technical Properties
Products are manufactured from SBR rubber and EPDM based material that are resistant to weather conditions, not harmful to human health and recyclable.

Description
This is a synthetic sports field flooring system that may be applied at a total thickness of 8, 10 or 13 mm, coloured, highly ultraviolet light resistant, made of EPDM rubber granules and one-component polyurethane binder mixture, water-permeable, elastic and suitable for sportsman health.

Characteristics
This is a floor coating system in compliance to DIN 18035 norm. This EPDM and rubber based system is resistant to abrasion and has impact cushioning effect.

EPDM Coating over Tartan

Description
This is a synthetic, water-permeable, suitable to sportsman health, spike-resistant sports field flooring system that can be applied at a total thickness of 15 mm, with two layers of which the 8 mm thick top layer consists of original SBR rubber granules and polyurethane binder, and the 7 mm thick bottom layer consists of coloured and ultraviolet-resistant EPDM rubber granules and single component polyurethane binder.

Areas of Use
Closed and open tennis courts, basketball, volleyball fields, athleticism tracks and all kinds of open air sports field floors, multifunctional sports fields, jogging, athleticism and fitness halls, bicycle paths, traffic training tracks, running or walking tracks, classrooms, playgrounds and walking tracks prepared for disabled people, shooting ranges

Advantages of Rubber Flooring Materials and Their Superiority against Other Materials

  • Due to preventing injuries that may occur because of falls or impacts thanks to its shock absorbing and protective aspect and elasticity, it is the best material to be chosen especially for children playgrounds.
  • Compared to sand used in playgrounds, it is much more hygienic and health.
  • Due to its superior drainage property, it does not cause water accumulation even after heavy rains. Provides a dry and antiskid floor.
  • Its cleaning is very easy, it is conveniently cleaned after rain or with water. It has long life, and easy to repair due to its demountable characteristic.
  • In addition to its elasticity, it is also highly resistant to abrasions and impacts.
  • It is a material that reduces loss of energy, does not tire the person and with a significantly high walking comfort.
  • Provides heat and noise insulation.
  • It is resistant to UV sunlight. No deformation due to low or high temperatures occurs.
  • It can be safely used in areas where low temperatures and snow precipitation are encountered.
  • Provides a smooth surface, does not contain protrusions-indentations that may cause tripping. After form, thickness, colour, model etc. product properties are determined, initially surface preparation is conducted. After a smooth and flat concrete surface is obtained, adhesive material is applied to the concrete surface via vinyl comber, and coating process is initiated by laying the material on that surface. You may reach detailed technical information regarding application from our company. The rubber flooring material to be used on children playground floors should be produced by UV resistant powder paint mustard green, red or black rubber 3/5 mesh granule rubber parts being pressed under high temperature and high pressure with special adhesives. Under no condition may rubber clippings in the form of thin-long rasps be allowed to be contained within the material.
  • The rubber flooring is applied on the levelled concrete surface previously prepared by the administration via special adhesives. Adhesive not less than 0.500 kg shall be used per m2.
  • Rubber material should not be broken when folded completely or its pores be opened, and it should have elasticity that allows easy rolling.
